Tariq Mubarak
Founder & CEO
Tariq is an experienced real estate and finance solicitor & consultant with particular expertise in the SME property development sector. He has over 22 years of combined legal practice and property consultancy experience. He is renowned for his commercial and practical advice. He builds strong relationships with many of his longstanding clients earning him ‘trusted adviser’ status with them.
In 2009, Tariq founded his own boutique property law firm based in Kingston-Upon-Thames. Having employed over 21 staff and acted on some large property transactions, including various shopping centres and prime Central London residential and commercial properties, Tariq merged his law firm in April 2019 with a Guildford, Surrey based firm. Tariq joined the merged firm as a Commercial Property Partner later becoming the Head of their Commercial Team.
Tariq is married with 3 kids and is famed (at least amongst his kids) for his pancakes & French toast. In his free time, Tariq invests heavily in his personal development - both mentally and physically. He is also a property investor and equity investor in startup ventures. Tariq speaks regularly at business and property events and writes for various property & business magazines.
Lena Asaad

Lena is a highly skilled Executive Assistant with extensive experience supporting a legal team in fast-paced environments. With a keen attention to detail and an understanding of legal procedures, she plays a key role in managing administrative tasks, organizing case files, managing billing and ensuring seamless communication between clients, solicitors and external partners. Lena excels in drafting legal documents, maintaining confidentiality and ensuring that all aspects of the legal process run smoothly. Known for her exceptional organisational skills and ability to multitask, Lena is committed to providing invaluable support to ensure the efficient operation of the legal function. She is dedicated to enhancing productivity and facilitating a seamless experience for clients and colleagues alike.
Soufiath Nisha is an Executive Legal Assistant providing strategic and operational support to senior solicitors and firm leadership. She plays a key role in ensuring the seamless progression of matters from initial instruction through to completion and beyond.
Her responsibilities encompass the preparation and review of legal documentation, drafting formal correspondence, coordinating with clients and stakeholders, overseeing transactional processes, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and procedural requirements. She supports effective file management, facilitates document execution, and assists in maintaining workflow efficiency across a broad range of matters.
Soufiath is recognised for her professionalism, attention to detail, and strong organisational capabilities. Her structured approach and commitment to excellence contribute meaningfully to the firm’s operational effectiveness and the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Consultant Real Estate Solicitor
Pedro is a qualified solicitor with expertise in corporate, commercial, and property law. He has developed particular proficiency in property acquisitions, development and leasing - focusing on providing innovative legal solutions to clients in the property sector. With a growing reputation for strategic and practical advice, Pedro has quickly established himself as a reliable consultant in the legal and property investment space.
Pedro’s career spans legal practice and property consultancy, working with private clients and large property funds. His experience includes sourcing and negotiating investment opportunities, managing property transactions and advising on complex legal issues. Pedro’s keen understanding of both the legal and commercial aspects of the industry enables him to deliver comprehensive solutions that add value for his clients.
In addition to his role at STM Consultancy, Pedro is active in London’s legal and business communities, attending and hosting networking events. He holds a Master’s degree in Private Client Law with distinction from The University of Law, where he also completed his Legal Practice Course.
Outside of work, Pedro enjoys connecting with people and creating opportunities for collaboration and growth. He’s always open to a conversation—whether it’s sharing ideas, exploring new ventures, or just offering guidance. Pedro believes in making the legal and property sectors more accessible and supportive for everyone.
